Our new toy!!! But oh so much to learn...

Here's a couple of snaps we've taken since we got the new camera. I've had a bit of a play but need to learn so much more about what I can do to make the camera work for me. Anyway, here's a couple of my practice shots...

Well it’s official.  He’s got his first birthday money in a card! And he’s pretty excited too!!!!!

 

Before they left for Turkey last Tuesday, Nanna & Grandpa popped a birthday card in the mail ( a noisy one too thanks Mum!!!!) and the little man was totally excited to receive it today!

Ironman

I haven't been blogging much lately but this video we just watched on youtube had me so moved that I needed to blog it. Anything is possible...

The first video is what we first watched and then we searched for the second one (to see if it was really true to be honest!). The second is more of a doco style which does some more explaining. Watch one, or the other, or both, whatever you have time for. It's worth it!

One day a son asks his father: "Daddy, will you run the marathon with me?" The father answers yes and both run their first marathon together. One day, the son asks his father if he wants to run the marathon with him again and the father answers yes. They both run the marathon together again. Then one day the son asks his father: "Daddy, will you run the Ironman with me?" (the Ironman is the toughest...it requires a 4km swim, 180km biking and 42km running). The father says yes again. This all sounds easy...but check this video.





A truly powerful reminder than we should all focus on our abilities and not what we can't do...

Party invitations...
