Pharmacy Photos - 6 months

So the old photographer must have got the boot from the pharmacy photos over the border. I could still go to the local one if I needed to but got the word that the new photographer was pretty special...

And she is...

Next months theme is a barrel of apples :)

I Like a ... Please!

So there were only 2 options for a munchie attack yesterday morning...
Choc coated teddy bear biscuits (Yay!) or Jam tart biscuits...

I asked James if he'd like one - "Yes, please Mummy" (He's dynamite with manners these days - expecting and getting great results!)

"Would you like a choc teddy or a jam bikkie?"

"I like a teddy, please"

(bikkie consumed by a little fella whose eyes then dart around the kitchen to locate the bikkie barrel ready for his next bikkie victim...)

"Muuuuummmy"

"Yes, mate"

"I like 1 more bikkie"

"Which one would you like?"

And as he reaches for the jam biscuit..."I like a vegemite one please!"

Well pretty close hey, but imagine that - YUK!!!!

Crazy cousins!!!

Matt's brother Paul and his gorgeous girls Reilly and Chloe returned to Australia for their 3 week mid-Summer holiday. And it would have been a bit hard coming from the Canadian warmth to the Aussie cold!

Paul had the itinerary planned perfectly, managing to spend some quality time with all of his siblings and their families, allowing cross-world cousins to get a little Crazy together!!!

James is totally and utterly besotted with his cousins, and they sure earned their rest after being chased around our house for 3 days!!!

They arrived Friday afternoon after spending some time in Melbourne and on the farm during their first week.

Saturday morning we packed up, rugged up, and headed off to Beechworth, about 30 minutes drive away...

It was sooooo cold, and the girls rugged up in their ski jackets and braved the elements to see the old sites including the gaol cell that Ned Kelly was held in after he was arrested before being sent to Melbourne.

(I feel the need to point out that I had my knee length woolen cardi folded up double and zipped into my ski jacket in this pic - I look a bit Michelin but it's not all me!!!)

After a quick spin around the historical parts and a trip up to the Beechworth Honey shop where you can see a working bee hive in action, we stopped for an early lunch at the famous Beechworth Bakery. Yummmmmm!!!!!
Reilly and Chloe had no issues at all adjusting and embracing all new and different kinds of foods - but they especially loved their meringue choc-dipped snow men! Mmmmmmm...

Lucy, however, couldn't figure out what was wrong with this straw when trying to eat her pureed pumpkin...

Oh, right, it's a spoon... Messy, messy, messy...

Cuddles with Uncle Paul while Matt was off attending to a 2 year old dirty nappy... :)

After lunch was the obligatory trip to the Beechworth Lolly Shop! Yum again!

With our arms laden with lollies (or candy as the girls would say) and our pockets definitely lighter ;) I set off home with the little kids for sleep times while Matt, Paul and the girls stopped at Woolshed Falls for some bushwalking and nature exploring...

A rare family snap - not the best, but proof we all dwell in the same house!

A Tinkler cousin group shot!

And then, that afternoon, Matt & James took Reilly, Chloe and Paul for an explore of our street and the bush up the back of our house. Pretty spectacular scenery to live amongst if I do say so myself...

Chloe and I had some downtime while 2 little kids slept on Sunday at lunchtime. Matt, Paul and Reilly went for a drive to the weir...

And then we played the rest of the day out at Scrambles where the kids played and the big kids joined in!!!

Where did she go?

I put her down on the quilt under the play gym and walked out of the room for no longer than 2 minutes! Where did she go????

And that's how we found out that Miss Lucy is on the move!!!!

And pretty proud of herself too!!!!

Snapping the Tinklers... in the wild...

Having wasted many hours over the last 2 years trying to get photos of James, Matt & I, and more recently with Lucy, I've come to the conclusion that studios are not for us, and the 'wild' is the only place to snap us!

Jacqui cooperated with my request and hunted and tracked us around the Coffs Harbour Jetty for a quick photo shoot the day before we came home.

We'd had brilliant weather the first week and a half we were in Coffs but I didn't get around to organising this til the end. As you can see from little Lucy's nose and my hair - it was windy and COOOOOOLD! Oh well, the photos have turned out well anyway!

Thanks Jacqui!
