Slept in too long?

I had a little sleep in on a Friday... I woke to this staring silently at me, 2 meters from my sleepy face...

Cats kids... At this stage ;)

Well James certainly is but I still hold out hope for Lucy to prefer her stripes in black and white and vertical but we'll see how that goes (a trip to Sydney with the Walsh's in August could help my cause!). James walks around singing the Geelong club song, and he sits around singing it too I guess, he sings it anywhere! And Lucy has started singing it too. As a tolerater of Geelong through necessity I think it's kind of cute James singing the song, missing words, joining others together and finishing off proudly with 'down at dinnia park'. But I've found something just as cute that was brought to my attention by Matt this morning... 

Matt: "Lucy, sing the cats song."

Lucy: "ok. We are geewong, the gweatest team of all, we are geewong, we're always on the ball...

We play the games that we shouldn't play, at home or far away..."

Don't know if that's her confession time or if she's still learning the song. Either way, it's pretty cute! 

NB. for those who don't hear the Geelong song twenty five times a day or who have been under a rock in the last 6 years of AFL the line is meant to be "we play the game as it should be played..."

A stompin' good time at James' 5th Birthday!

Face painting, binocular making, dinosaur egg hunting, tug-of-war-ing, pinata smashing and cake eating... What more can a 5 year old want!
