Funny how often these sorts of things happen to me, or maybe they happen to everyone... Like when I look at the clock and it's 11:11 or 3:33... Or when my car just clocked 96969 km and I saw it. And I get excited by the symmetry and the coincidence of noticing that symmetry (is it a palindrome if it's a number?). I don't look at the clock every minute so I smile when it happens.

The Picture Wall: Half-done... and stuck...
I'm halfway through a job that really can't be left half done...
But I can't work out how to get a level for the the second row!
Should try and finish it tonight...
8:41pm Editors addition:
I DID IT! I just finished it!
So happy with it... Now just need the blackwood hall table to finish it off...

Tinkler Tales...
I haven't been posting enough of those funny stories that happen nearly every day... So here's a couple to catch up...
1. James went to his first AFL game, Geelong V Western Bulldogs. His new kids size footy jersey needed a number so we chose the number three, Jimmy Bartel's number. It didn't take more than one or two times for James to work out who Jimmy Bartel was on the TV and by his number. Only problem is that now he seems to think that the symbol '3' is actually synonymous with Jimmy Bartel.
- playing UNO the other day... Look Dad (holding up 3 card) it's Jimmy Bartel!
- pulled up at the petrol station, me putting fuel in the car... Look Mum, it's Jimmy Bartel. Sure enough, we were at bowser 3...
So pretty much any 3 is at risk of being re-labelled! We laugh about what would happen if James was asked to count to 10... 1, 2, Jimmy Bartel, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9...
2. Lucy, when greeted by strangers in the past, has entered conversation with them. Hello... "hewo"... What's your name? "Wucy"... And so on and so forth, usually with well placed smiles and cheeky demeanor... Today, walking through Bunnings, two men and one woman were standing in a aisle and had to move to make space for me and 2 veeeeeeeeery slow kids, each pushing a child size trolley, to move through. James had his eyes down, well rehearsed at avoiding attention, and Lucy's staring up at the strangers with wide eyes and a cheeky grin. Inviting them to talk to her... And they did... Hello, that's a big long train with your Mum, what's your name? She stops... Looks up through wispy blond hair and big blue eyes, pauses... smiles... and sticks her tongue out and blows the hugest raspberry at them. They burst out laughing, I was horrified and told her that was rude. And we swept away, Lucy feeling hilarious, me slightly embarrassed, James enjoying the moment!
Shopping done, I decide to revisit the situation and said that poking your tongue out at people was not nice and it was rude. I said those people were sad when Lucy poked her tongue out. Lucy responds with 'not nice. Don't poke tongue out', James responds with, 'they weren't sad Mum, they all laughed.'
