Happy Birthday Pezza!

We had a quick trip to stinking hot Adelaide on the weekend to celebrate Matt's great mate Pezza becoming old (30!). Considering my last post was about Matt feeling old at 29, he was reassured to know that other people are continuing to age too!!!!

True to form, I forgot to take any photos at the birthday party but these should give you a bit of a giggle anyway...



Here's James travelling for the first time without his car seat. The bus from the car parking place to the airport doesn't have car seats so it was either hold him on my lap or sit him on the seat with a lap seat belt. Considering I was nervous enough about him being effectively unrestrained, I opted for the seatbelt however inadequate it may have been... James, however, thought it was cool!!!!

Interestingly, the normally very serious security staff at Melbourne airport thought we were nuts leaving the Melbourne heatwave to fly to the only place in Australia hotter at that point in time. After living through the 45 degrees on Saturday and Sunday, we kinda agreed!!!!! Poor South Australians!!!!

Matt, James, Pez, Bec and 'baby Perry' at the Adelaide airport on Sunday morning... Pez was putting on a very brave face at this point in time. He'd certainly celebrated his birthday in style - dragging Matt out past his bedtime too!!!!

We're all looking forward to some news in the next few weeks, we're tipping it's a girl...
