And little Miss Lucy Lu is a month old today- look how big she's getting!!!!!
Lauren came to visit and have her first cuddle. We'll be making use of Lauren's babysitting talents for the next little while as she finishes her uni degree in Albury.
And I have to include a photo of this little bug-a-lugs' sore sore face... Yesterday, he had four separate accidents, and his poor little face copped it.
1st - he fell, neck first, onto the umbrella stand outside - resulting in a faint bruise on his neck
2nd - he fell, chin first, onto the corner of a wooden puzzle box (his hands were stuck in the arms of a jumper he had almost finished taking off while I was out of the room) - resulting in the nice red bruise on his chin
3rd - he fell, thumping onto his bottom and back, in the garage on some water that had snuck under the garage door and settled right in his path. It was like a slow motion stunt scene as his legs went out from under him and his botty and back slapped the concrete. Fortunately he guarded his head well and there was no sickening head thump to follow...
And 4th - he fell, forehead & nose first, while running around like a loony down the side path of the house! - resulting in the scrape from the top of his forehead, across his nose, and the bleeder on his top lip!
He's pretty tough generally, but the accumulative effect of all 4 falls left him pretty fragile by the end of the evening. He wasn't really interested in eating dinner, just wanted to cuddle and was more than happy to go to bed a little earlier than usual...

Awwww, James. You tough little cookie. Boys will be boys, but slow down little man! Hope you're feeling better soon.
Lucy looks so tall! She is so beautiful.
Good luck with the move! Hope it goes smoothly and the kids help you out :)
Oh..... the poor little man :(
He's such a tough little boy, but that many falls must hurt.
Wow! Lucy has grown so much in the last 2 weeks since I left there. She's so pretty in all her pink! Both of them are just as gorgeous as ever!
Its tough work being a big brother hey James!!
Love Lucys girlie outfit and the floorboards, love the floorboards!!
Thanks for the comment Jane, I actually went to bed last night thinking I must comment on yours today after reading it last night for the first time since the birth post. There's 20 months between Ellie & Will so seeing all your pictures reminds heaps of when Will was born. You all look so happy and completely smitten with Lucy. Bet it feels like you've always been a family of 4. Good luck with the move, what an exciting time for your family.
btw I know boys and their bumps very well. Will is currently nursing a very fat lip courtesy of a face slam at the shack on the weekend. I dont think it ever stops!
