James' bad habit!!! & Granite Gardens...

We all have bad habits... Our friend Zak might suck his fingers til they blister, but James has a bit of a weird habit... He loves door stoppers! All of them...
Quite often I find him making a beeline for the 2 near our front door...
he pulls them off the wall,
sticks them in his mouth and sets off to play.
He's rather like a little puppy dragging things around in his mouth as he crawls around the house. You might also notice the little munchkin is wearing knee pad bandages!!! He's got red and bruised knees from the rather unforgiving tiles throughout our house and he was trying to crawl around earlier this week without using his knees. He seems much happier with a little bit of padding and protection!!!

On Saturday, I took Matt, James, Mum and Dad down to my work colleague's new tea room venture... "Granite Gardens Tea Rooms" on the Yarrawonga Rd just out of Wangaratta. It is a magnificent location, so private and secluded you wouldn't even know it was there!!!
James loved the space in the tea rooms, it's the second time he's been there and he feels like he owns the place!!!

The room is pretty much surrounded in glass with these vines hanging down from the verandah...
James was after whatever Nanna had just eaten!

And here's Ben's specialty dish - falafels! Matt loved them!!!!

We highly recommend the Tea Rooms to anyone within driving distance to Wang, and we'll be keen to take any visitors we have there for lunch, or even a devonshire tea on a Sunday afternoon!!! Just let us know if you're keen!!!!

We should have just bought him a packet of door stoppers for Christmas!!! He certainly liked the one he got his hands on when he was up here!
Looking forward to seeing you guys again next week.

I wonder if it's a boy thing - Fletcher has a thing for shoes! Will put on anyones shoes, and always comments on them when he notices!
Great pics. Good to hear from you again!
